Trapper's calves have shown themselves to be standouts in the show ring and in carcass quality. Sons and daughters place at the top of their classes; he won the Get of Sire award at the Northern International Livestock Exposition (NILE) for three years running.
Meat customers attest to the quality of the beef from this line. One son was ultra-sounded at the end of a high-roughage bull test; with 0.09" of backfat, his marbling score indicated a high choice carcass. Trapper offspring are uniform and consistent; regardless of the dam, they carry his stamp.
